Though they comprise less than 5% of our Armed Forces, the men and women of the Special Operations community endure a disproportionate rate of the psychological and physical tolls commonly associated with military service. Day in and day out, they carry a burden most of us will never fully understand and they do it with a quiet strength and a resolve that is inspiring and defies words.

Gulf Coast Valor, founded in 2024, looks to provide these heroes the opportunity to rest, recharge, and focus on their mental and physical well-being. Surrounded by the beauty of Florida’s Gulf Coast, our all-expense-paid programs (Detachments) focus on promoting decompression through recreation and fellowship.

Recipients take part in meaningful activities, connect with others, themselves, and return home stronger and better equipped to serve. The relationships developed amongst participants continue long after they leave and provides a lifelong network for integration and support.
